The work to be done shall consist of the installation of bituminous concrete materials, and milling operations. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, supplies, and other facilities and means necessary or proper to lay in place the materials and perform operations as described, and to include all handwork and curbing as necessary for the completion of pavement in place, shimming in place, milling, and all related work. Raised structures must be painted in fluorescent orange paint following all milling operations. Paving end of run cold joints must be cut square and prepared with emulsion prior to beginning the new run. Immediately prior to paving the road must be swept by the contractor to the satisfaction of the Danbury Highway supervisory staff. Addendum No 1 extended bid due date to the 10th of Feb. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
