The Durham-Middlefield Interlocal Agreement Advisory Board (DMIAAB) solicits sealed proposals from qualified companies (Contractor) to provide one or more permitted facilities within thirty (30) miles of the geographic boundary of the Towns of Durham and Middlefield to receive, process, dispose of and recycle all wastes and recyclables managed by DMIAAB. The waste disposal and recyclables processing services shall be provided in a cost-effective, efficient, regulatory-compliant and reliable manner under the terms of a mid-to- long-term Agreement between, DMIAAB and the Contractor. The Contractor shall be expected to provide all facilities, equipment, labor and services required to receive, process, dispose of and recycle all waste and recyclables managed and collected by DMIAAB at its transfer station and delivered to an acceptable facility or facilities as described in the attached.
