The Project includes full design and construction services for Burrville ES, which will be an approximately 84,000-square-foot school facility. The Department anticipates the demolition of all of the existing building and all new construction, but the Design-Builder shall recommend a design that is most advantageous to the Project. The Project shall include all new outdoor playgrounds, parking, and loading facilities. The property consists of several lots that will be merged through the subdivision process. It is believed there is an existing paper alley on the site, which was closed during the construction of the 1979 school. The Design-Builder will be required to work with DGS and the District Department of Transportation (“DDOT”) to determine the existence of the paper alley and address this condition. Bonds required.
