8(a) Set-Aside, 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. Typical work may include but is not limited to the emergency repair, replacement, and/or installation of water mains, valves, sluice gates, backflow prevention assemblies, fire hydrants, and fire hydrant control valves, the pressure testing, sterilization, and cleaning of water mains, the inspection of water mains using close circuit television, the connection of temporary water service to residential and commercial buildings, and the use of test pits and exploratory excavation. Work may also include new construction. Bonds required.
