Work for this project consists of, but is not limited to, replacement of the existing medium voltage main switchgear and medium voltage motor control centers with new 5kV medium voltage switchgear; Installation of new 5kV generator paralleling and load sharing switchgear and associated controls to parallel the existing generators, synchronize them with each other, and interconnect with the electrical utility; Upgrade of existing standby generator mechanical components and controls; Provision of temporary electrical connections, equipment, and sequencing of electrical work to ensure continuous operation of the facility's electrical system throughout the construction phase; Removal and replacement of three vertical turbine high service pumps, along with associated above-grade discharge piping, and the performance of all labor, work and/or other operations as required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. Bonds required.
