The ship store at Caxambas Marina was damaged from Hurricane Ian. The damages to the interior of the ship store resulted from high winds and flooding. The interior was partially demolished with some debris left behind. The store has been closed since the Hurricane and will remain so until the repairs are complete. There are two other projects ongoing at the Marina presently. One to replace the fuel system and another separate project to repair the seawall and its surroundings. Clean up the interior of the ship store, removing and disposing of any leftover debris. • Apply microbial to floor and walls to clean/disinfect/kill mold spores and smell in the blocks. • Clean A/C ducting to abandon odors and mildew in ducts and change out all filters. • Install (8) EA new 2’ x 4’ LED Commercial Ceiling Lights (6 in the main room, 1 in each storage area). Color shall be white. • Install (1) EA new four space commercial sink including plumbing tying into existing plumbing line and installing p-trap and drain. • Install approximately 715 SF of non-porous porcelain floor tile. Install standard 12x12 porcelain floor tile w/max. ½” grout line. Color to be white or off-white selected from manufacturer's standard range. Coefficient of friction must comply with ADA and Code Requirements for dry and wet conditions. Prepare floor as directed by manufacturer prior to installing Foundation DX 5000 or equal to create a smooth, waterproof floor surface. • Install approximately 130 LF of 6” vinyl cove base. Color to match floor tile. • Apply PVA primer and paint all walls, approximately 960 SF. Paint shall be moisture resistant such as Sherwin Williams Pro Industrial pre-catalyzed water-based epoxy, or equal. Color basis of design: SW 7009 “Pearly White” in semigloss. Provide primer and 2 finish coats minimum. • Install 800 SF of 2x2 ACT drop ceiling and grid (includes 2 storage areas in rear of store). Include installation of R30 insulation. • Install new countertop/desk area for POS system. POS system will be supplied by others and ties to the fuel system. • Install 1 EA new window on east side of building which became dislodged during storm and is now broken. Window shall be impact-resistant, low E, turtle film PGT 770 series. Window is 44” x 45”. Frame color shall match existing. • Install 2 new harbor breeze ceiling fans, 5 blades. • Contractor shall be responsible for permitting and any associated required documentation. Jurisdiction having authority is City of Marco Island.
