The project is located at the intersection of N. Barfield Dr. and N. Collier Blvd. in Marco Island, FL. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, adding through lanes on N. Barfield Dr, extending left turn lanes on N. Collier Blvd., and providing and installing traffic control systems, poles, mast arms, vehicle detection systems, pedestrian signals, and replacing existing asbestos-cement mains with new water mains, and reclaimed water mains. This includes associated disconnections, temporary and final connections, new valves, fittings, service line connections, and restoration activities. All water mains must be flushed, tested, and sterilized prior to commissioning. The project also includes curb and landscape removal, sidewalk and swale restoration, curb construction, and pavement striping. Work that impacts traffic shall be conducted at night.
