The Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County, Florida, ("the County"), is soliciting Vendors/Contractors that are active in construction activities to improve the intersection of Anderson Snow Road and Corporate Blvd. Due to growth and development, there is a need to improve the intersection of Anderson Snow Road and Corporate Boulevard. The improvements are to reconstruct and widen existing Anderson Snow Road. This improvement will be an interim improvement to set up Anderson Snow Road for an ultimate typical Four Lane section in the future, including a 22’ median, and curb and gutter as well as a southbound left turn lane and a northbound right turn lane. A portion of Corporate Blvd. shall be reconstructed with paved shoulders and provide westbound left and right turn lanes. Drainage improvements to Anderson Snow will include adding swales and conveyance systems to the existing Drainage Retention Areas (DRA). A new traffic signal will be added to the intersection. Additional improvements include intersection lighting per FDOT criteria, ADA sidewalks, curb ramps, and new signage and pavement markings, along with HCUD and private utilities relocation. Bonds required.
