The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit Bids from qualified firms or individuals for construction services for the Cypress Creek Pump Station Variable Frequency Drives, (Project #50071) project under Contract #2025028 (“the Project”). ampa Bay Water’s Cypress Creek Pump Station is located in Pasco County and sustains system pressure in the absence of the High Service Pump Station. The facility treats more than 60 million gallons per day (MGD) supply from the Cypress Creek and Cross Bar Wellfields. Cypress Creek can also pressurize the Regional System with its six (6) 1250 HP and one (1) 1500 HP High Service Pumps (HSP). This project will replace a 2.4 kV, medium voltage Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), HSP-1-VFD. The VFD feeds a 1250 HP motor for High Service Pump 1 (P-3301). Motor feeder conductors, and control cabling will be replaced, and new cable tray installed between the new VFD and the existing motor. The new drive will be manufactured by Innomotics, formerly known as Siemens Large Drives. Upgrades will be provided for two (2) additional medium voltage VFDs, HSP-2-VFD and HSP-6-VFD (P-3302 and P3306). Upgrades will include new control boards and power modules. The existing VFDs were manufactured by Robicon/Siemens. The details of the required services/goods are more completely described in the Invitation to Bid documents. Bonds required.
