The work described herein shall be for the removal of all on-the-ground exotic invasive species at each location listed. Species are to be manually removed and/or exterminated in place. These species include, but are not limited to, Brazilian Peppertree (Schinus terebinthifolia), Mimosa Tree (Albizia julibrissin) Air Potato Vine (Dioscorea bulbifera) and Kudzu Vine (Pueraria montana). The scope of work also includes stump treatment of the remaining stumps to prevent regrowth as well as removal of all manually cut material and chemically treated material once dead. The Awardee will be required to perform a follow up invasive species removal one year after completion of initial invasive species removal. The work to be done consists of the Awardee furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment and materials, and other means of maintenance necessary or proper for performing and completing the work. The Awardee shall perform and complete the work in the manner most consistent with the safety of life and property and to the satisfaction of The Parks and Recreation Representative and in strict accordance with the specifications of this contract. The Awardee shall clean up the work area and maintain it during the actual maintenance of the site and shall do all work and pay all costs incidental thereto. The Awardee shall repair or restore, at his/her cost, all structures, property, or fixture(s) that may be damaged or disturbed during performance of the work.
