The property located at 2101 West Main Street, is under the ownership of the City, purchased using West Tampa CRA funds. The property is intended for a future Main Street public park. Property is a designated Brownfield Area (Resolution No. 2022-1047). A 3 Phase Environmental Site Assessment was completed for the property by Environmental Engineering Consultants, Inc. (EEC). The site remediation will be in accordance with EEC’s recommendations which include, but not limited to, site source removal, soil excavation, source disposal, and replacement fill for the site. Vendor shall provide excavation of top 2’ of impacted soil across the property, backfilling with clean fill, compaction and sodding. EEC, who is currently conducting Brownfield Site Assessment, will oversee the excavation. Work is to take approximately two (2) weeks.
