The District is seeking the services of qualified consulting Firm(s) to provide professional services, pursuant to a continuing contract, consisting of Construction Engineering and Inspection Services (CEI) for various horizontal and vertical construction projects, including but not limited to: CEI services for vertical, horizontal and subsurface construction projects, including but not limited to; administration building, parks and recreation facilities, utilities, potable water, wastewater and reclaimed (irrigation) water; stormwater management and drainage construction; streetlights; and site development. The District shall have the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require additional services that are consistent with the scope of services and those activities typically performed by engineers or consultants and for which the Firm(s) are experienced, qualified and able to perform. This will be a “Master contract”, which is not for any specific project. Work will be negotiated, authorized, scheduled, funded, and accounted for by the issuance of Supplemental Task Authorizations, by the requesting department or division. The successful proposer(s) shall be responsible for furnishing and delivering to the District the services on an “as needed basis” for a three-year period. There may be an option to extend the contract as specified in the Scope of Work or other specifications upon the approval of both the District and successful proposer at the time of extension or renewal for two (2), additional one (1) year periods. The District aims to maintain a select roster, or pool, of qualified firms capable of delivering full-service CEI provisions to the District, encompassing (CEI) services essential for the construction, renovation, and modernization of diverse projects. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed under any resulting contract. The intent of this RFQ is to invite firms to provide proposals for Construction Engineering and Inspection Services. The District anticipates entering into contract with up to (three) firms to fulfill the requirements and scope of this RFQ.
