Florida SouthWestern State College (hereinafter “College”) seeks to establish an indefinite quantity, firm fixed price contract to be used as the primary source for Campus Moving Services. The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a contract with two or more Suppliers authorized and qualified to provide office, library, lab and classroom moving services as well as storage for the College’s three campuses and the Hendry/Glades Center. The campus moving services solicited herein will supplement the current services provided by the College’s Department of Facilities Planning and Management. The Supplier must have the capability to perform a wide range of moving services, including general moves of offices, classrooms, dormitories, and administrative spaces. Services may also include handling specialized items such as laboratory equipment, IT hardware, and other fragile or high-value assets that require careful transport. In most instances, the College department is responsible for packing their offices and personal belongings prior to a move, however, the Supplier may be required provide packing and unpacking services when required, along with supplying all necessary packing materials. In addition to standard moving services, the Supplier may be asked to assemble and disassemble modular furniture, shelving units, and other items as needed. If the College requires temporary or long-term storage for furniture and equipment, the Supplier should indicate whether they have storage solutions available and provide associated pricing. The availability of storage shall not be a consideration when awarding this ITB.
