The City of Tallahassee is seeking a qualified contractor interested in providing Construction, Commissioning and Start-up Services for the BNR Blower System Replacement at the Thomas P. Smith Water Reclamation Facility, located at 4505 Springhill Rd., Tallahassee, FL, as outlined in these bidding documents. Work to be performed under the resulting contract generally includes all labor, equipment and materials required to deliver a complete, operable system. The project includes replacing, testing, and startup of two new single stage integral gear blowers and upgrading the process mechanical system, electrical, structural, HVAC, and I&C systems of the aeration blower system and electrical equipment in Blower Building No.1. The specific areas of work include, but are not limited to the items listed below, along with associated piping, valves, support systems and appurtenances, structural, painting, electrical, instrumentation, tie-ins to existing systems, and testing. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
