The work entails supplying and/or excavating, transporting, placement and grading of material within project areas designated by the TOWN under specific Work Orders to be issued by the TOWN – consistent with the lump sum and unit costs cited in the CONTRACTOR Schedule of Costs (Attachment “A”). Bidders shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the scope of work outlined herein and in accordance with the Technical Specifications included as Attachment “B”. Potential Work Order(s) under the initial three-year Contract includes reinforcement of previously constructed dune projects within the Town, emergency sand placement for protection of roads and structures, as well as beach restoration activities allowed by permit. The timing of Work Order approvals is contingent upon site conditions, funding availability, and agency permitting. There are no guarantees of work under this Contract. CONTRACTOR must be available and capable of responding within 48 hours to TOWN needs following execution of a work order as outlined herein.
