KEYS has 154 Steel Transmission Poles within its service territory that have minor to moderate rust at the steel base plate and bottom first foot of steel pole sidewall. The objective of this project is to assess and determine the condition of existing in-service steel poles and identify those structures with corrosion damage which need remediation. The contractor shall provide recommendations on restoration of the poles and preventative maintenance to return to the original design strength. This shall include the foundation anchor bolts, nuts pole base plate (top and bottom) of the steel structure. Bonds required.
