FKEC requests “turn-key” proposals from Contractor’s to provide a thorough, “Comprehensive Visual Aerial Inspection” of selected transmission lines, associated line components, substations, towers, structures, under-built distribution and the surrounding rights-of-way, for years 2025, 2026, and 2027. The Comprehensive Visual Inspection will be performed utilizing a MD 500 model helicopter, or equivalent, slowly maneuvered along the transmission line, hovering at each structure for a detailed assessment of the structure. A data collection system will be used to collect, analyze and present the conditions found during the inspection. Bonds required.
