The School Board of Orange County, Florida, hereafter referred to as "OCPS" or the “district”, is seeking proposals from qualified Contractor’s to provide comprehensive emergency response, disaster recovery, restoration, and remediation services. The selected Contractor(s) will be responsible for providing timely and effective services to mitigate the impact of emergencies and disasters, restore affected areas, and remediate any environmental hazards. Services are to be provided at approximately 230 locations with potential future growth. The primary objectives of this RFP are: 1) To ensure rapid and effective response to emergencies and disasters. 2) To restore affected areas to their pre-disaster condition. 3) To remediate any environmental hazards resulting from the disaster. 4) To minimize the disruption to the community and ensure public safety. Certified MWBE and/or VBE and/or LDB proposing to subcontract 12% MWBE and 10% LDB and 3% VBE Prevailing wages.
