Welding shall include, but not limited to, installation, alteration, repair, relocation, replacement, assembly of, addition to, use or maintenance of any metal products. Types of vehicles requiring professional custom metalwork and fabrication services include, but not limited to, buses, golf carts, and vans. Projects not listed may be requested by OCPS’ Food and Nutrition Services Department (FNS) on an as-needed basis. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products. Work and select gauge and type of sheet metal such as stainless steel, galvanized iron, aluminum, or nonmetallic material such as plastics or Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMW), according to product specifications. Annual Contract, initial period of three (3) years and two (2) additional one-year renewal options.
