Services to be provided will include, but are not limited to, the following items: • Prepare a comprehensive assessment of the Town’s existing Lift Station and its various components including but not limited to the structure itself, electrical components, fire protection, the lift station apparatus, the gravity sewer intake, and the output via forcemain. • Prepare construction plans including all applicable calculations. The plans and calculations must be prepared using the latest available design standards of all governing bodies for the lift station included but not limited to the Florida Building Code, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, Palm Beach County Land Development, and the Florida Department of Transportation. • Prepare a temporary bypass plan to accommodate the maximum capacity of Town’s sanitary sewer system to avoid service interruptions and/or adverse impacts to the residents of the Town. • Prepare permit documents (including but not limited to permit applications, attachments, and legal documents) and apply for and achieve approval of all applicable permits from all applicable governing agencies of the lift station. • Assist the Town in the preparation of the Request for Proposal (RFP) once all applicable permits have been applied for and approved by the respective agencies. • Construction management, and other related services including but not limited to attendance and leading at a pre-construction meeting, the supervision of the contractor selected in the RFP, and any subcontractors subsequently working for or on behalf of the selected contractor, inspection of the construction itself from the time of demolition to the closure permit(s), and the closeout of all permits applied for and approved during the project.
