The City of Zephyrhills is soliciting a licensed State of Florida contractor to rehabilitate Runway 1-19 in accordance with the specifications and plans and as described in the following work items: The rehabilitation of the existing asphalt pavement on Runway 1-19 will include a nominal 2” milling and 2” of new asphalt mix pavement, grooving, pavement markings, sodding, and replacing some of the elevated Runway 1-19 edge and end lights with flush mounted lights. The overlay will include the Runway 1-19 width of 100’ plus 10’ shoulders on either side. The remaining 15-ft shoulder width on either side will be milled 1.5” and paved to tie to the adjacent pavement. Approximately 400 square feet of Runway edge will require a leveling course around the station 19+25 to 19+75 to obtain the 2% allowable slope. The Runway width, geometric layout, and safety areas will remain unchanged in this Project. Bonds required.
