Tampa Bay Water is seeking proposals on its Cypress Creek Wellfield Improvements, (Project#01602). Please see attached Request for Proposal for further information. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit responses from qualified firms or individuals to provide Professional Engineering Design and Construction Administration Services for wellfield improvements at the Cypress Creek Wellfield in Pasco County. This project includes the evaluation, design, and construction for the replacement of thirteen (13) pumps and motors and the replacement or improvement of ten (10) well houses to meet the current building and ventilation code requirements, as well as improve overall safety and energy efficiency. Additionally, respondents will evaluate decommissioning of the surge tank at Well Number 1 and provide an alternative method for surge protection in the system. Respondents should have an established reputation and documented successful experience in providing the services requested for wellfield improvements or similar projects. The respondent selected is expected to have appropriately experienced staff and resources to provide comprehensive, reliable products and services regarding the project and will be required to demonstrate this via the submittal documents and/or associated interviews, if deemed necessary.
