The City of Clearwater is soliciting responses from qualified engineering consulting firms to assist with its implementation of a Florida Senate Bill 64 Plan. The City owns and operates three (3) water reclamation facilities (WRFs); East WRF, Marshall Street WRF, and Northeast WRF. The East WRF’s permitted capacity is 5.0 million gallons per day (MGD) annual average daily flow (AADF) and functions as a Type I domestic advanced wastewater treatment facility (AWWTF). The Marshall Street WRF has a permitted capacity of 10.0 MGD AADF Type I domestic AWWTF. The Northeast WRF’s permitted capacity is 13.5 MGD AADF and serves both the City of Clearwater and the City of Safety Harbor as a Type I domestic AWWTF.
