The services of a qualified and experienced contractor to remove from their casings, inspect and make necessary repairs to production well pump assemblies at the T.B. Williams and the C.W. Combee Water Treatment Plants and related well fields. The work shall include, without limitation, removing from their casings vertical turbine pumps including the motors, discharge heads, up to approximately two hundred forty feet (240') of column each, shafting, bearing retainers, bearings and pump bowls, inspect ad make the necessary repairs. The successful bidder shall remove, inspect, repair and reinstall one (1) production well pump assembly at a time, from each facility, and provide all labor, supervision, materials equipment, tools, supplies and administration. It is anticipated that four pumps [Three (3) from the NW wellfield and one (1) from the NE wellfield] assemblies will be completed each year of the contract. The bids submitted and the contract, if awarded, shall be in complete accordance with, without limitation, this invitation to bid, specification NO. A.P.W.I. - 18, all codes regulations and requirements referenced therein.
