The Taylor County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting sealed proposals for construction of the USACE Floodplain Mitigation Drainage Project-Steinhatchee Community. The Bid Form Includes a Bid Alternate for the Allen Lane & 4th Street East related Stormwater Channels. Permitting of these channels is ongoing but currently unresolved. Bidders/Respondents should plan for and provide pricing for the possibility of a second, to be determined, mobilization for the construction of the channels separate from the construction of the remaining portions of the project. Such pricing shall also clearly indicate any restrictions on how that pricing will remain valid apart from the required Bid retention deadline (ex.: 6 months after NTP, etc.) Additionally, there is also a likelihood of some channel design changes in the permitted configuration. In this event, the awarded Contractor’s approved Schedule of Values shall be used as the basis for any quantity adjustment(s). Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
