CHA hereby gives notice that it is seeking qualifications and proposals from qualified developers to assist CHA in evaluating the feasibility and providing a development proposal for demolishing and relocating the Alcovy Community, made up of 180 of its 280 projectbased Section 8 (RAD PBRA) units. CHA is open to all plans, ideas, or proposals for financing the new construction of these 180 housing units, including, if necessary, pursuing and obtaining an allocation of 9% and/or 4% low-income-housing tax credits (“LIHTC”) through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (“DCA”). The construction of these 180 units (new construction), as related to the 180 units within the Alcovy Community, would be deemed to be Phase I.
