Rexburg Idaho is desiring to build a New Police Station Facility Project in the City of Rexburg. To build a new facility, it will likely be necessary to secure a general obligation bond, which would have to be approved by vote in the future by the residents of Rexburg. Rexburg is desiring to work with the CM/GC to help develop some preliminary cost estimates and designs of a potential New Police Station Facility to present to our City Council and potentially to our citizens as a potential ballot request that would also provide tax affects related to property owners if they were to choose to pass a general obligation bond to fund the project. The city has been and will continue to save money in reserve to help reduce the needed potential obligation amount to our citizens for the chosen facility.
