The project is to be bid with two options. Option A will be to repair and modernize both elevators (one elevator at a time leaving one functioning elevator in service). Option B will be to repair and modernize the one elevator that is currently out of service. When that elevator is complete, functional and in service the contractor is to take whatever steps are required by code to remove the other elevator from service. Bonds required.
