The Addison Street Bridge (SN 016-0669) over FAI 90/94 (Kennedy Expressway) and CTA will undergo routine maintenance. The scope of work primarily consists of reconstruction of the expansion joints with strip seals, hydro scarification (3/4”), deck and approach slab repairs, installation of a latex concrete overlay (2½”) with diamond grinding and longitudinal grooving, application of a protective coat, and substructure concrete repair. Roadway improvements include installation of HMA east of the bridge, the reconstruction of the ADA ramps at the Eastbound I90/94 off-ramp, Westbound I-90/94 on-ramp and Westbound I-90/94 off-ramp intersections, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvements shown on the plans and as herein specified. DBE 13%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
