The project consists of resurfacing and reconstructing portions of Hale Street from E. Dearborn Street to Larson Street. The proposed improvements will include cross slope and crown correction. The typical section consists of reconstructing a portion of Hale Street with resurfacing at each end of the project limits. The proposed typical section will consist of one (1) 13.5-feet wide travel lane in each direction. The existing curb and gutter along both sides of this project will be removed and replaced with a combination curb and gutter TB6.12. The west side of the road will provide an 8-foot concrete path separated by topsoil. Corner ramps at the intersections will be replaced following the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) policy. DBE 6%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
