The project consists of expanding approximately 7.97 miles of I-57 by adding an additional lane in each direction, installing a median barrier or center median ditch, resurfacing the existing lanes, adding storm sewers and drainage structures, updating pavement markings and deficient guardrails, installing raised reflectors and rumble strips. The proposed work includes earthwork, HMA pavement and resurfacing, erosion control, traffic control and protection, guardrail, underdrains, drainage, pavement markings, signage, rumble strips, bridge work, and all other work necessary to complete this project. Project labor agreement. DBE 3%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
