The Carroll County Office of Procurement, in cooperation with the Bureau of Resource Management, is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide the labor, material, equipment, and services necessary for the Melstone Valley Stormwater Management Facility Retrofit Project. This project consists of retrofitting the existing stormwater management facility for Melstone Valley to a submerged gravel wetland. It is located in Eldersburg, Maryland at the open space stormwater parcel adjacent to 7145 Melstone Valley Way, Tax Map 79, Block 01. The project includes removal of the existing risers, installation of new underdrain, and construction of a new gabion berm. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Carroll County Department of Public Works prior to bid opening. Bonds required.
