Work under this contract includes but is not limited to: furnishing and installing seventeen (17) new meter vaults and associated piping and appurtenances, removing existing meters from inside the buildings and replacing with flanged DIP spools, and installing County-supplied water meters and strainers in the new vaults. Relocation of the meters to vaults outside of the buildings will allow automatic meter reading, easier access for maintenance, and a clear definition of ownership and maintenance responsibilities. Bonds required.
