Frederick County, Maryland, (County) is seeking proposals from qualified Contractor’s for a turn-key solution for the upgrade of existing public safety radio communications system (PSRCS) to support mission-critical public safety communications within the county. The PSRCS supports daily two-way radio communications for public safety and local government operations including law enforcement, fire rescue, medical transport and the emergency management, all of which interoperate with adjacent local jurisdictions and the state of Maryland and Pennsylvania. The system also supports local government operations including Schools, Streets and Highways, Parks and Recreation, Public Transportation, and Utilities among other departments. Bonds required.
