The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to establish a contract, by means of sealed bids, for the repairing and paving of certain streets within The City of Frederick. Task orders will be assigned by the Streets Department for specific areas. The paving is to be with a permanent patch as designated by The City of Frederick, in accordance with The City Specifications as specified herein. Approximate areas to be repaired are as follows: • Concrete & Asphalt Patch per City of Frederick Specifications (Includes all excavation) – 10 Square Yards • Concrete & Asphalt Patch per State Highway Administration Specifications (Includes all excavation) – 10 Square Yards • Full-depth Asphalt Patch per City of Frederick Specifications (Includes all excavation) – 1,000 Square Yards • 2" Mill & Resurface (Includes milling, asphalt tack and asphalt placement) Area less than 100 Sq. Yards – 100 Square Yards. All quantities provided are for bidding purposes, and do not reflect the actual quantities to be installed. The City of Frederick will determine which type of patch will be installed and will inform the Contractor of the type of patch to be installed at each location Bonds required.
