Howard County intends to procure the services of a construction firm to replace the existing fire alarm systems at the Little Patuxent Water Reclamation Plant (LPWRP) with a uniform, plantwide fire alarm and employee alarm system. Construction work will include but is not limited to permitting and preparation of continuity of service plans, demolition of existing fire control systems, installation of new fire/employee alarm systems, panels and devices including associated conduit and circuits, installation of miscellaneous associated fiber optic and electrical improvements, miscellaneous facility restoration and repair related to installation of said improvements, and fire/employee alarm system testing/demonstration, training, startup, manufacturer, maintenance, and software services. Bonds required.
