The City is accepting bid proposals to hire a qualified contractor to replace the roofing system over the third-floor wing at the Department of Public Works building, located at 800 Rabbitt Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878 (“Facility”). The existing roofing system is a black EPDM roof assembly with aluminum gutters and downspouts. The project goal is to replace the approximately 2,000 square-foot EPDM roof with a new 60- mil, white Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roof membrane. The Bidder is fully responsible for field verifying all dimensions before bidding on this project. All works shall include a minimum 30-year NDL special project warranty. The Contractor shall provide a two (2) year Contractor’s workmanship guarantee. Bonds required.
