This open-ended, on-call, Contract will consist of providing labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the physical maintenance and repairs of drainage structure at various locations in Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties. The Engineer will schedule the locations and type of repair after the Award of Contract. Work shall be performed as directed by the Engineer and may or may not be on a continual basis. Except for emergency conditions, it may be unlikely that shoulder repairs will be scheduled for the months of November through March. This work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Construct/Repair Inlets, Manholes or Various Drainage Structures. 2. Replace/Install Storm Drain Pipes or Culverts. 3. Replace/Install Endwalls, Headwalls or Endsections. 4. Mechanical or Hand Cleaning of Ditch Lines, Pipes and Inlets. 5. Place Riprap or Geosynthetic Matting at Drainage Structures or in Ditch Lines. 6. Install Various Types of Pipe Liners. 7. Repair Slope Erosion. 8. Repair Concrete, Block or Riprap Slope Protection. 9. Establish Vegetation. 10. Repair Curb and Gutter and Jersey Barrier 11. Flushing/Vacuuming of Pipes/Culverts 12. Video Inspection of Pipes/Culverts 13. Respond to and Assist in the Clean-Up Operations Following Natural Disasters. DBE GFE required. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
