The work to be done under this contract consists of scheduled & emergency drainage related repairs & improvements performed on drainage systems under the control of District 5 and includes • Adjusting and rebuilding of drainage structures. • Installing drainage pipes and structures. • Repairing of drainage outlets and systems. • Removing and resetting curb, edging, curb corners, and curb inlets of every type. • Furnishing and setting curb, curb inlets, curb corners, and edging and HMA curbs and berms. • Repairing roadways, embankments and washout areas as directed. • Providing and maintaining temporary erosion controls. • Performing exploratory excavation as directed. • Performing test pit excavation for utility location. • Clearing blocked culverts as directed. • Procuring engineering services for design of complex drainage repairs as directed. • Performing other incidental work to complete the above work. All work shall be performed within, and accessed by, existing State, City or Town roadway layouts. Work under this contract will be required on any or all state highways and roadways within District 5. Work locations will be within the limits of District 5 on various roadways as assigned by the Engineer.
