The work to be done under this Contract shall include removing the accumulated dirt, refuse, and other debris, from each catch basin or drainage structure along State Highway. Work also includes the furnishing of labor and equipment needed for clearing and restoring drainage systems to adequate function; removal and disposal of drainage structure sediments from pipes, manholes, catch basins, (including the gutter mouth of curb inlets), drainage ditches, paved waterways, and any other drainage structures. Work also includes establishment of traffic safety controls, signs and other work zone items Disposal of sediments shall be in accordance with the Department of Environmental Protection regulations. In addition, the work to be done under this Contract will include furnishing of labor and equipment that are needed for clearing and restoring drainage systems to adequately function; removal and disposal of drainage structure sediments from pipes, manholes, catch basins, drainage ditches, paved waterways, and any other drainage structures. Signs, traffic safety controls, and other work zone items are to be included. Disposal of sediments shall be in accordance with the Department of Environmental Protection regulations. The Contractor shall exercise care in the placement and storage of equipment, materials and debris. No equipment, materials, or debris can be placed or stored in or near a drainage area leading to a resource, as directed by the Engineer. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
