The work under this Contract consists of the complete replacement of the Keyes Hill Road Bridge (MassDOT Bridge No. N-08-020) over Umpachene River in the Town of New Marlborough, Massachusetts. It includes the demolition of the existing superstructure and substructures, and the construction of a new single span prestressed concrete deck beam bridge. The proposed bridge is comprised of hot mix asphalt overlay on 5” min. concrete deck slab on prestressed concrete deck beam supported by spread footing on tremie concrete foundation. During construction, the existing bridge will be closed, and vehicular traffic will be detoured. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
