The work to be done under this Contract consists of scheduled washing and cleaning performed on bridges and viaducts under the control of District 4 at various locations. The work will include cleaning and pressure washing (3000 PSI at nozzle) of bridge joints, bridge seats, superstructure elements, substructure elements, drainage pipes, and scuppers; removal of graffiti by pressure washing, solvent washing and/or coating; extending bridge deck drains; and performing any related traffic control. All work is “by Work Order assignment” of the MassDOT Resident Engineer. The Contractor will be notified of the scheduled repairs by work order per each Location. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
