The work to be done under this Contract shall include removing the accumulated dirt, refuse, and other debris, from each catch basin or drainage structure along State Highway. Work also includes the furnishing of labor and equipment needed for clearing and restoring drainage systems to adequate function; removal and disposal of drainage structure sediments from pipes, manholes, catch basins, (including the gutter mouth of curb inlets), drainage ditches, paved waterways, and any other drainage structures. Work also includes the establishment of traffic safety controls, signs and other work zone items. Disposal of sediments shall be in accordance with the Department of Environmental Protection regulations. Addendum No 1 extended bid due date to April 8th. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Department in the CATCH BASIN CLEANING category to bid. Work under this contract will be required on any or all state highways and roadways within District 4. Work locations will be within the limits of District 4 on various roadways as assigned by the Engineer. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
