The scope of work includes Pre-Construction Services and Construction Management Services for the replacement of the roof over the Barrick Museum on the UNLV Maryland Campus at 4305 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV. The Project will include complete replacement of the existing roof membrane with new 80 mil PVC roofing system over tapered insulation. CMAR shall provide fall protection per UNLV standards and building code. Contractor shall remove the existing roofing which is currently a spray applied foam roof over an existing builtup roofing. Any existing Asbestos Containing Material has been encapsulated. Contractor shall assume that the entire removal of the existing roofing (down to the deck) will require an asbestos abatement. There is no indication of damage to the existing deck / substrate, but the contractor shall provide an allowance for replacement of the existing deck / substrate as required. Contractor shall provide for all necessary investigations to confirm any damage to the existing deck / substrate. The roofis approximately 15,400 square feet.
