The Reno Fire Department (RFD) is undertaking a project to replace and upgrade the vehicle exhaust removal systems in its 14 fire stations and fleet maintenance facility. The current systems are outdated and failing, posing significant health risks to our personnel due to continuous exposure to hazardous exhaust emissions. This project aims to install modern, efficient exhaust removal systems that will significantly improve air quality and safety within our facilities. The installation at each facility will be completed by a licensed contractor specializing in vehicle exhaust removal systems. Period of performance is 7/18/2024 7/18/2026 Bonds required.
