This project consists of the removal and replacement of street trees, installation of new street trees, installation of ground cover and replacement of damaged or deteriorated concrete sidewalk along Atlantic Avenue from Maine Avenue to Tennessee Avenue in the City of Atlantic City in Atlantic County, New Jersey. In general, the scope of work for this project shall consist of site clearing; tree removal and stump removal; installation of new street trees and ground cover; installation of a slow release tree watering bag for each tree installed; traffic control; removal and replacement of deteriorated areas of concrete sidewalk; the resetting of existing brick pavers; the replacement of granite curb; site restoration; and all other work contained in the Plans and Specifications or directed by the Engineer. The work also includes dust control, soil erosion control, cleaning and restoration. The contractor is responsible for the location of all utilities and to schedule all work involved with utilities. Any cost related to their coordination shall be included in their proposal. Bonds required.
