This Contract is for the surface paving of recreational areas with “chip and oil” type paving in constricted spaces. The Contractor must have specialized equipment that will allow for tight access in small areas like campsites and pathways. The Contractor may be required to furnish more than one crew at a time, at the discretion of the Using Agency. It is the intent of the State to award Contracts to those responsible Bidders whose Quotes, conforming to this Bid Solicitation are most advantageous to the State of New Jersey (State), price and other factors considered. The State may award any or all price lines. There are eight (8) price lines, which are divided by four (4) regions. The State intends to make one (1) award per Region (Region 1, Region 2, Region 3, and Region 4), and each Region shall be awarded separately or any combination thereof. For each Region bid, the Bidder must be capable of providing services to any location as listed in Section 1.2.1 of this Bid Solicitation. Bidders may submit a Quote for one, multiple, or all regions.
