The Scope of this Project includes the abatement of Hazardous Materials and various repairs required throughout the tunnel system and the I.T. Room within the Clocktower Building at the Marie Katzenbach School for the Deaf Campus. The work generally includes the following: 1. General conditions. 2. Mobilization and demobilization. 3. Temporary facilities. 4. Removal of Hazardous Materials (Refer to Specifications Section 02 48 83) 5. Removal of Pipe Fittings 6. Removal of existing and installation of new carpet tile throughout the areas impacted by the hazardous materials. 7. Removal of the existing wood pipe enclosure and construction of new metal stud framed pipe enclosure. 8. Paint surfaces of newly installed Gypsum Board. Where new painted gypsum board is installed, the entirety of the wall surface within the impacted space is to be painted, full height. All bidders must be classified with DPMC with one of the following trades: General Construction (C008) OR General Construction / Alterations & Additions (C009). Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
