The objective of this Project is the Demolition of existing Men’s and Women’s toilet rooms on the first floor of the Department of Environmental Protection Building located at 401 East State Street, Trenton, New Jersey, and alterations within the existing spaces to create two Gender-Neutral toilet rooms. B. The Scope of Work Includes the following: 1. Selective demolition of interior finishes and partition construction 2. Removal of existing and provision and installation of new hung acoustical ceiling systems 3. Removal of existing and installation of new doors, frames, and hardware 4. Removal and disposal of ceiling hung toilet partitions and supporting steel braces 5. Removal of existing and provision and installation of new toilet room accessories 6. New fiberglass batt sound attenuation insulation in walls and ceilings 7. New gypsum board and cementitious tile backer board 8. New porcelain tile wall and floor finishes 9. Modifications to fire sprinkler system (Refer to Division 21) 10.Plumbing demolition and improvements (Refer to Division 22) 11.Mechanical demolition and improvements (Refer to Division 23) 12.Electrical demolition and improvements (Refer to Division 26) 13.The Project work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM weekdays. No work will be permitted on weekends or State Holidays. All demolition work shall be conducted on second shift only. All Bidders must be classified with DPMC with one of the following trades: General Construction (C008) OR General Construction / Alterations & Additions (C009). This project shall be bid as a single bid (Lump Sum, All Trades). Bidder must be classified themselves or name their classified Subcontractors for the following trades: Plumbing (C030) HVACR (C032) Electrical (C047). SBE Goal: 25% Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
