The project consists of supplying the necessary materials for and performing the asbestos abatement, lead abatement and demolition of the shed structure present on the property, soil excavation and disposal of lead contaminated soils, backfilling and grading of the disturbed area, and site restoration and seeding of the disturbed area, as detailed in these specifications and the construction drawings. The Freshwater Wetlands General Permit No. 4 for the remediation activities has been secured. The area of disturbance currently is less than 5,000 square feet therefore procurement of a Soil Erosion Sediment Control approval is not required; however, measures to be implemented. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
